Practice – Effective lesson planning

In the next steps of your course, you will be asked to plan your next lesson using the ten steps you’ve learned.

It is important to devote time to this task in order to prepare each step properly.

Follow step by step and at the end you will have an Effective Lesson Plan that you can use in your next class or the next chance you get.

Remember that this section of your course includes everything you’ve learned throughout it.

Note that the last two steps are not part of the exercise in the online system; they are done during a physical lesson with your students in class or during a private lesson:

9. The warm-up exercise
Do a warm-up exercise to get your student’s full attention before you begin your lesson.

10. Observe
As you implement the lesson plan, observe your student and address any barriers to study as soon as they appear.
